The Beast

 <Southern Sweet Tea>

Texas's version of ice lemon tea I suppose? It tasted somewhat different with a different texture to what I know. The tea was smooth, felt thick like milk and finishes off slightly minty. It was awesome to be honest. But if you are keen to read more, you can check out "Sweet Tea" from wiki.

 <Pulled Pork Sliders>

Not too shabby. Buns were lightly toasted and in between, laid a bed of smokey pulled pork top with bbq sauce and coleslaw. If you are just hunting for a small bite with a glass of good beer, this might be just your best choice. But for me, it wasn't that memorable.

 <Buffalo Wings>

I would say this is one of the better buffalo wings I've had. They come in 3 different heat, I ordered the mid-range ones. The wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Perfectly cooked. The hot sauce that covered them was tangy and spicy. If you don't mind getting a little messy, I'll strongly recommend this. I'm going to try the spiciest the next time I visit! Haha~

 <Shrimp & Grits>

One of the classic comfort food from Southern USA. Gravy was awesome and savoury, I could almost lap it all up. There were a lot of grits which tasted good. But I would have love to have more or bigger shrimps to accompany the dish. It was almost like Grits with Shrimps rather than Shrimps & Grits.

 <Blackened Pork Collar>

Spices were good and intense. Mash and gravy spot on as well. But I found the pork a tad too dry for my liking. Nevertheless, it is still a decent dish.

 <Catfish Taco>

An excellent dish with no flaws in my opinion. This was my first time having catfish and I had no idea what to expect. But the flesh was so soft, fresh and succulent. The batter was also excellent. Just lightly coating the pieces of fish, enhancing the overall taste. The condiments such as the salad, the salsa, tacos and others also blended well, creating a very balance and satisfying meal.

 <Country Fried Steak>

For those who are unsure, country fried steak is actually quite a staple in the southern part of USA. It is actually a battered beef steak deep fried. As you would suspect, deep frying a steak would cook it well done and the meat might be tough. But the way they do it is to beat the steak thinner so that it cooks faster and stays more tender. Personally, unless you are ultra picky about the way you eat your steak, this dish is still an enjoyable one.

 <Chicken and Waffles>

A portion size of monstrosity! When the dish arrived at our table, we were all shell shocked at the sheer size of the meat. Don't get me wrong, it was good!!! The waffles were decent, But the chicken was awesome. Super super moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Some of you may find the batter a little to thick though. And they could improve the dish more by removing the skin from the chicken before covering it with batter. It was steaming soft under the batter as well~ LOL

<Bourbon Pecan Pie>

Too sweet for me~ It is the 2nd time I hate a pecan pie and both times I found it too sweet. Maybe pecan pies just ain't for me.

Verdict
Ambience - Good
Food - Great
Cost - $35+
Overall - Must try!
