Okada Coffee

Okada Coffee started operation in KUMAMOTO, JAPAN in 1945. They specialize in special coffee with a rich aroma and deep flavour. Besides that, they claim that their Japanese styled cakes have been loved by fans of Okada Coffee. However, I wasn't in a coffee mood that day. So what drew me in was its cosy ambiance. It had a feeling of home-coming, dim lights and friendly staffs. But... I forgot to take pictures of its interior... T__T

 <Okada Roll>

Swiss roll with azuki and chestnut paste. It was light and pleasantly sweet. I think most girls will like it.

<Japanese Curry Rice>

To them, traditional Japanese curry rice meant a robust and flavoursome gravy cooked with a variety of vegetables only. The curry was really good and had depth to it. The rice topped with sesame seeds was a smart move too as it heightens the fragrance of each mouthful.

Verdict
Ambience - Great
Food - Good
Cost - $15 per pax
Overall - Try it
